Raymond Hushpuppi Set To Be Prosecuted For Multiple Fraud

Raymond Hushpuppi is set to be prosecuted on multiple charges of fraud by the Dubai public prosecution, UAE news outlet, The National, reported on Wednesday.

After being arrested by Dubai police on June 10, Hushpuppi has been charged with obtaining money through fraudulents means and is being questioned by prosecutors at the Bur Dubai section.

According to reports, Hushpuppi and 12 others were arrested for fraudulent activities targetted at individuals and companies.

A senior prosecutor had this to say, “They would send out letters from email addresses almost identical to those of legitimate companies, targeting customers of these companies, with the purpose of diverting payments to themselves.”
