- There were news circulating recently in the social media that the detained OPC operatives in Oyo were moved to Abuja after they were arrested following their arrest of Iskilu Wakili.
- However, the OPC coordinator in Oyo state, Rotimi Oluomo refuted the news early yesterday evening.
- He said the three detained OPC Members were not moved to Abuja and that the three of them have been released on bail.
The notorious Fulani warlord, Iskilu Wakili, arrested by the members of the Oodua People’s Congress on Sunday has been partially vindicated on the ground of no concrete evidence.
The police made this known recently that, Wakili is still in their custody and investigation is yet to commence because all what they have are mere allegations with no evidence of the crimes they said he committed.
Recall that the OPC members arrested Wakili for allegedly masterminding several kidnappings and killings in Ayete Ibarapaland.
However, the police has released three detained OPC Operatives on bail but they are yet to prosecute Wakili due to no evidence.
As we all know, the police cannot act without evidence. They also call on the residents of the community to come and make official statements, if any, against him, EKO HOT BLOG gathered.
Due to this, Nigerians have flare up with a lot of disappointing words in the security systems.
