Real Madrid Considering Shock Move For Man United’s Bailly
With Bailly expected to be heading towards the exit at Manchester United, it has emerged that a return to Spain is likely via, wait for it, Real Madrid.
The Sun is reporting that sources close to Bailly are aware United are ready to launch moves for defensive targets while at the same time stating that those in charge at the Bernabeu have included the tough-tackling Ivorian on a list of ‘first-tier’ targets this summer.
With persuading World Cup winning defender, Raphael Varane, to remain a part of his project believed to be one of Zinedine Zidane’s first tasks in his second coming as coach, the France and Madrid legend considers Bailly his Plan B.
All these are coming amidst interest in the France international and suggestions that he is keen on a new challenge. But there won’t be a need to move for Bailly, who had a fantastic first season following his recruitment at Old Trafford by Jose Mourinho who was sacked in December.
But seen as a player of immense promise who is only rough at the edges, Madrid would consider the 30million Man U paid for him as a good deal.
On their own, Ole Gunnar Solksjaer and those in charge at Manchester United will like to have some money available to spend on targets including Napoli’s Koulibaly and Leicester’ Magiure.
