Published

An accident has occurred at Awoyaya, along Epe Expressway, where a motorcyclist that hit a moving vehicle died at the spot.

It was reportedly said that the motorcyclist was trying to overtake the vehicle from behind but suddenly could not apply the brake and ran beneath the surface of the front wheels.

The incident which happened this afternoon, Friday 29, 2020, still looked mysterious to people living around the scene as they felt that life was so short that everyone should be careful when driving.

The motorcyclist who died in the spot has been taken away from the main spot by the policemen and officials of Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) who arrived there from the nearest police station while the driver of the vehicle drove off before the arrival of nearby people.

The source of our information, Mr. Taiwo Ogunboyejo, said Lagos State Government had informed all motorcyclists not to ply expressway but they persisted in their foolish ideas of plying without any regards to the law of the state.

“If God is guiding us, we should be guiding ourselves also,” he said as he concluded his narration on phone.
