On the 15th of June, 2021 at 5pm, the book, “Reflections: An Anthology of thoughts on Nigerian Movie Industry – Pioneers, Creativity & Tenacity” by the veteran journalist, Femi Akintunde-Johnson, fondly called F.A.J. was formally presented to the public.

The formal and public presentation of this book was held via Zoom.
A lot of the Nigerian Film Industry artistes and directors were in attendance. Of worthy note were the presence of veteran journalists too. Pastor Babatunde Bakare, the Serving Overseer of Citadel Global Community Church (formerly The Latter Rain Assembly) and his wife, Layide, also graced the occasion from their home.

The chairman of the book presentation, Yomi Badejo-Okusanya, Group MD of CMC-Connect Ltd. and president, African Public Relations Association, during his short speech praised the veteran journalist for his daring and fun nature which made him take up projects that led to some of the growth in the Nigerian Films industry in the 90’s and 2000’s.
When called upon to give his remarks, the author, who was praised by the moderator of the event as the ‘godfather of entertainment reporting’, thanked all who were in attendance. He said that the history of this thriving sector of the Nigerian economy is evolving and would not end anything soon. He continued that in order to capture the moments, writers of the history of this thriving sector must be willing to speak, patiently, to those who are involved in it to understand its currently pattern and nuances.

Pastor Tunde Bakare while giving his pastoral blessings prayed that the author would have more grace to cover more grounds in all his endeavors. He also praised the veteran journalist for his positive contributions to the development of the film industry in Nigeria.
The Book, “Reflections: An Anthology of thoughts on Nigerian Movie Industry – Pioneers, Creativity & Tenacity” is a book of over 300 pages centered on the history, creativity and growth of the Nigerian Film industry which is available in the e-book and paperback formats, both through online( Amazon and Smachwords) and in Nigeria through the author’s website (https://fajswhatnots.wixsite.com/fajalive) .

Otunba T.J Abass, the publisher of Eko Hot Blog equally graced the occasion.
