Relief For MOCPED As College Gets New 500kva Transformer

Power supply in Michael Otedola College of Primary Education MOCPED, Noforija, Epe, has received a much needed boost as TETFUND expedites the approval and installation of 500kva transformer for the institution.

In order to consolidate its power generation and address the issue of electricity supply, the Management of the College had requested for a 500kva electric transformer which was swiftly assented to by TETFUND.

However, the 500kva transformer which was delivered late in the year 2020 was successfully installed and tested on Monday, February 1st, 2021.

This, it was gathered, replaced the old 200kva the current administration of Associate Professor Nosiru Onibon inherited.

The Management of the College consequently expressed their heartfelt appreciation on behalf of Members of Staff and Students for the prompt intervention from TETFUND.

” To boost the power supply to the College, the Management requested the approval and took delivery of a 500Kva Transformer from TETFund late last year.” public relations officer of the college, Daramola Sani, said

While reacting to the good gesture of Tetfund in sponsoring the installation of the 500kva transformer, the Provost, Associate Professor Nosiru Olajide Onibon, expressed his gratitude to Tetfund saying it will go a long way in solving the problem of power supply in the college.

According to Onibon, Tetfund had helped a long way in the infrastructural development of the college.
