Religious Group Harps On Thanksgiving As Panacea For Divine Intervention

Nigerians have again been Advised to develop the habit of continues Thanksgiving to God to achieve total greatness in the country.

Senior Minister, Charismatic Renewal Ministry, CRM in Gonin-Gora Kaduna state, Pastor. Dr Julius Olajire gave the advice at the annual Thanksgiving service of the church in Kaduna state, northwest Nigeria.

Pastor Julius Olajire explained that the annual Thanksgiving was a period set aside to recognise what God has done in their lives from the beginning of the year to the end.

According to Pastor Julius, Thanksgiving is one of the most significant religious pillars that breaks barriers and moves God to act swiftly on behalf of men.

The clergyman who said Nigeria was a project under God called on the citizens to intensify effort in their service for both God and humanity toward attracting his Divine intervention to achieve greatness.

He pointed out, however, that despite the challenges bedevilling the nation such as insecurity, economic recession and the Coronavirus pandemic among others would become things of the past if the country returned to God in dedicated service.

In a message at the annual Thanksgiving service, guess Speaker and itinerary preacher, pastor Clement Ogbomege who red from Philippians and Thessalonians described Thanksgiving as a continuum and something that should happen in a constant basis and not a periodic event.

He urged Nigerians regardless of tribe or religion to continue to express gratitude to God no matter the situation they found themselves, pointing out that gratitude to God would always separate and reposition them for greatness.

The Clergyman who is also the Managing Director, Hepzibar integrated technologies said God had continued on a daily basis to fight their unknown battles and at the same time made available opportunities and blessings before them, hence the need to show gratitude to him.

Pastor Clement enjoined Nigerians to be fervent in prayers for God to heal the land from her numerous challenges, and to also put in mind some of the good things he had demonstrated including keeping the nation together despite the agitations for restructuring and need for secession among others
