Rep. Raji, Tobun, Jaja, Surah, Olulade, Others Made Top List of 2024 EDCAA Awardees

Ekohotblog reports that the Epe Division Community Annual Awards (EDCAA) 2024 has officially unveiled its list of awardees, with prominent individuals and organizations being recognized for their outstanding contributions to the development of Epe Division.

The announcement, which took place on Friday, highlighted the winners of the highly anticipated online polls across various categories.

Among the top awardees were Rep. Wale Raji, Hon. Abiodun Tobun, Hon. Akeem Jaja, Hon. Princess Surah Animashaun, and Hon. Segun Olulade, all of whom were celebrated for their dedication and service to the community.

During the announcement , the organizers emphasized the importance of the nominations themselves.

“Being nominated for an award is already a huge achievement,” said the event announcer.

“It is a clear mark of recognition, showing that the nominee has been making impactful contributions to the community.

If you weren’t important or actively contributing, you wouldn’t have made the list.”

Rep. Wale Raji, one of the notable awardees, expressed gratitude for the recognition.

“I am humbled by this recognition. It serves as both an honor and a responsibility to continue working for the betterment of our people.

I will continue to serve Epe to the best of my ability,” he said.

Hon. Abiodun Tobun also expressed his appreciation for the award.

“Being acknowledged in this manner is truly rewarding, but it also challenges me to do even more for the community.

I dedicate this to the people of Epe, whose support and trust have been invaluable,” he remarked.

The organizers of the EDCAA 2024 also noted that while the winners were celebrated, the true reward for hard work is more work.

“The reward for hard work is more work,” the announcer stated. “To the winners, this victory is just the beginning.

You’ve been given the largest share of the vote, but now it’s your challenge to keep delivering to the community.

To the nominees who didn’t win, we encourage you to keep doing the good work that earned you your nomination.

There is always a reward for goodness.”

The event also recognized the successful announcement of the awards by CNI, with many applauding them their seamless execution.

Looking ahead to the grand awards ceremony on December 12, 2024, the community is excited to gather and celebrate the achievers of the year.

As the organizers put it, “We shall all be there to celebrate the hard work, dedication, and success of all those who have made Epe a better place.”
