Ekohotblog reports that Rep. Wale Raji has initiated the construction of a story-building with 12 classrooms at Pobona High School in Poka, Eredo LCDA.
The project aims to address the issue of overcrowded classrooms and provide a more conducive learning environment for the students.
Hon. Wasiu Odeyemi, who represented Rep. Wale Raji at the event, explained the motivation behind the initiative:
“We were told about the overcrowding here, and Rep. Wale Raji quickly planned to provide this new building. This will give students more space to focus on their studies,” he said.
The Old Students Association also appreciated the effort. Mr. Dipo Komolafe, National President of the association, remarked:
“This is a great step forward for our school. These classrooms will make a big difference.”
Barrister Christiana Ogundapo, another representative, added: “Rep. Wale Raji is truly helping education in our community. We are grateful for his support.”
The Vice Chairman of Eredo LCDA, who was also present, commended the initiative:
“This project shows how committed Rep. Wale Raji is to improving education in our area. It will help the students and teachers greatly,” he said.
The principal of Pobona High School expressed gratitude for the project:
“This new building will solve many of our problems and create a better place for learning,” he said.
Parents and students also shared their excitement at the event. A parent noted:
“This is a wonderful gift to our community. Our children will now have better classrooms to study in.”
