Rep. Wale Raji Begins New Classroom Projects in Temu

Ekohotblog reports that Rep. Wale Raji has commenced the construction of new classrooms at Temu Community High School to enhance education in the area.

The project includes a storey building with twelve classrooms for the senior secondary school, six upstairs and six downstairs, making a total of 12.

Another storey building with 12 classrooms will also be constructed for the primary school.

Speaking at the event on behalf of Rep. Wale Raji, Otunba Nurudeen Yusuf, APC Apex Leader in Ikosi-Ejinrin, stated that the project was part of a promise made to the community.

“When the Temu school was established, the Baale asked what plans were in place for senior secondary students so they wouldn’t have to move to another school after finishing JSS 3.

Rep. Wale Raji assured that the senior secondary school would be ready before the first set completed their junior secondary education. Today, that promise is being fulfilled,” he said.

Hon. Wale Anomo, Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA, praised Rep. Wale Raji for his efforts in supporting education in the community.

“This project shows his commitment to providing quality education for our children,” Anomo said.

“Rep. Wale Raji has touched every part of the Epe constituency, and he’s eager to do more.

We will continue to support him because he’s never tired of putting smiles on the faces of the people,” he added.

The Baale of Temu also expressed gratitude, recalling the challenges residents faced before the school was built.

“Education was not easy for our people.

Many children had to travel long distances to attend school.

Rep. Wale Raji has made life better for us by not only establishing this school but also expanding it,” he said.

Teachers, students, and the school principal also thanked Rep. Wale Raji for his continuous support.

A teacher said, “This project will provide a better learning environment for our students. We are truly grateful.”

A student, Daniella, added, “We are happy and excited.

This will make learning more comfortable for us, without the fear of traveling long distances for senior education again. We really appreciate Rep. Wale Raji.”

The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by community leaders, government officials, school staff, and students, all expressing appreciation for the development.
