“It’s truly a dream come true for us,” said one trader happily. “This market is everything to us, and seeing the construction begin gives us hope for better business opportunities.”

Construction workers have begun laying the foundation of the new market stalls. Engineers are carefully planning the work to ensure that the new structures will be solid and long-lasting.

Many traders, who have been temporarily relocated to another part of the market, are eagerly waiting for the new stalls to be ready.

The new market will serve not only the Poka community but also other nearby areas such as Odomola, Iraye, Odogbonle, Odo-Egiri, Imokun, and Odo-Noforija.

It will cater to local traders and also support nearby schools, hospitals, and other businesses.

Rep. Wale Raji, recognized for executing top-notch projects, participated in the groundbreaking ceremony with fellow political leaders and his team.

He has successfully built markets in Mojoda and Ito-Ikin, and the Aiyetoro Market, which is close to completion, is his current focus.

“We have ensured that all funds and plans are in place to guarantee the project’s on-time completion,” Rep. Wale Raji stated confidently.

This market will not only help our traders, but it will also show how good planning and oversight can make a real difference.”
