Rep. Wale Raji Continues Elders Welfare Scheme, Provides January 2024 Monthly Stipend

Eko Hot Blog reports that in a steadfast display of dedication to the welfare of the elderly population within Epe Federal Constituency, Representative Wale Raji’s Elders Welfare Scheme, known as “Itoju Awon Agba,” has extended into the year 2024.

Over 140 beneficiaries of the scheme received their monthly stipend of N10,000 for January 2024 across Epe Federal Constituency, ensuring continued support for senior citizens in the community.

Otunba Wale Olusesi, Senior Legislative Aide to Rep. Wale Raji on Special Duties and Projects, led the delegation for the disbursement.

He emphasized the scheme’s significance, stating, “Rep. Wale Raji’s Elders Welfare Scheme stands as a continuous testament to his dedication to the well-being of the elderly within the community.”

Olusesi highlighted the program’s comprehensive support measures, designed to address the diverse needs of senior citizens and contribute to an improved quality of life during their golden years.

He explained that, “This thoughtful initiative is undoubtedly crafted with the objective of addressing the multifaceted needs of senior citizens, recognizing their unique challenges, and contributing to an enhanced quality of life during their golden years.”

The scheme provides financial aid in the form of stipends or allowances, aimed at alleviating economic burdens commonly faced by the elderly.

This support empowers them to meet various daily expenses, ensuring a dignified and comfortable existence.
