Rep Wale Raji Drives Development In Epe With Market, School, Police Projects
Eko hot blog reports that Rep. Wale Raji, member representing Epe Federal Constituency, has shown his commitment to improving lives in Epe with visits to important projects in the community.
These include the Ayetoro Market, local schools, and the Epe Police Station.
At the Ayetoro Market, the lawmaker inspected the ongoing construction of a modern facility with 400 shops, solar-powered lights, public toilets, gated entry points, and a parking lot.
He directed the contractors to complete the work within two weeks.
“This market will give traders a safe and modern place to do their businesses, helping small businesses grow and supporting the local economy,” Rep. Raji said.
Later, at Ikorodu Garage, he met with traders and transporters, who asked for repairs to the premises and more solar lights for safer trading at night.
Rep. Raji promised to take quick action, saying, “Your safety and welfare are very important.
We will address these issues as soon as possible.”
Rep. Raji also visited Temu Community School and Pobuna Secondary School, where he announced plans to build 12-classroom storey buildings at both schools.
This will help solve the problem of overcrowded classrooms and create a better environment for learning.
“Education is key to building a better future. These classrooms will help our children learn in a conducive environment and succeed,” he said.
The lawmaker also stopped by the Epe Police Station at Awolowo Way (Oke-Oyinbo), where a new modern police building is under construction.
He was warmly welcomed by CSP Benjamin Ayeni and other officers, showing his support for improving security in the area.
Community members praised Rep. Raji for his efforts. A market leader, said, “The new Ayetoro Market will transform trading in Epe.
“We are grateful for his hard work.” , A teacher at Temu Community School also thanked him,
“These new classrooms will make a big difference for our students and their learning.”
