Rep. Wale Raji Honored with an Award on His Birthday

Ekohotblog reports that Rep. Wale Raji, representing Epe Federal Constituency, was honored with a special award as the Man of the Year 2024 during the 5th edition of the Epe Division Community Annual Award (EDCAA).

The award, presented on his birthday, recognized his hard work and numerous achievements in developing the Epe community.

The award was presented by Hon. Olusegun Olulade alongside other dignitaries, who praised Rep. Wale Raji’s commitment to the progress of Epe Division.

To add to the celebration, everyone in attendance sang a heartfelt birthday song for him, showing their love and appreciation for his efforts.

Although Rep. Raji could not attend the event in person, the award was received on his behalf by Mr. Bashiru Oluwakemi Hassan and members of his team.

In his message, Rep. Raji thanked the organizers for the recognition and promised to continue working for the progress of Epe and its people.

As part of the celebration, the Concerned Nation Builders Initiative (CNI) presented Rep. Wale Raji with a beautifully decorated birthday cake and used the opportunity to highlight his numerous contributions to the constituency.

They spoke about his efforts in building schools, fixing roads, supporting students, empowering youths, and improving healthcare services.

He was also commended for creating job opportunities, providing agricultural support to farmers, and ensuring steady progress in all sectors of the community.

In an interview, Hon. Hassan said, “This award is well deserved. Rep. Wale Raji has done so much for our community, and we are proud of him.”

Another guest, Hon. Olabode Duke Gabadeen, noted that Rep. Raji’s leadership continues to inspire the people of Epe to strive for excellence and unity.

The event, themed Rewarding Excellence: Inspiring Community Development and Societal Impact, highlighted the importance of giving back to the community.

As the event concluded, Mr. Idris Tele Olukoya, the Founder and Director-General of CNI, encouraged everyone to contribute their efforts toward the growth and development of the community.

He also emphasized the importance of supporting and appreciating those making positive impacts, as this would motivate them to do even more.

In his words, “A life of impact is a life of value. Let us all commit to making a difference in our community.”
