Epe Federal Constituency representative, Hon. Wale Raji (MHR), has extended his heartfelt condolences to the Lagos State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, over the tragic loss of his beloved wife.

Ekohotblog reports that in a condolence message personally signed by him, Rep. Raji expressed deep sorrow over the passing, describing it as a painful loss.

He noted that while her departure has created a void, faith in God’s grace will provide strength and comfort for the bereaved family.

“On behalf of my family and the good people of Epe Federal Constituency, I extend our deepest condolences to the dedicated and amiable Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi.

In this moment of grief, we take solace in the comforting words of Scripture: ‘The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit’ (Psalm 34:18),” he stated.

The lawmaker further assured the Lagos APC Chairman of his unwavering support and prayers, urging him to find solace in the cherished memories of his late wife.

“We stand in solidarity with you during this difficult time, offering prayers for divine comfort, peace, and fortitude.

May the cherished memories of your beloved wife bring warmth to your heart, and may her soul find eternal rest in the bosom of the Lord,” Raji added.

The untimely passing of Mrs. Ojelabi has left many within the APC family and Lagos political circles in mourning, with tributes pouring in from party leaders, government officials, and well-wishers.

A close associate of the APC Chairman, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, described the deceased as “a woman of grace, humility, and support to her husband’s political journey.”

Meanwhile, condolence visits have continued at the Ojelabi family residence, with party stalwarts and dignitaries expressing their sympathy and offering prayers for the bereaved family.
