Eko Hot Blog gathered that Olumide made this appeal during a strategic planning meeting held in Alausa on Wednesday.
“Proper planning can not be done without the support and contribution of people. This is why my doors are always open for residents of Lagos to make their complaints, report any observed untoward developments, and contribute generally to the sustainable development of the State”, he said.
He reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to executing its regulatory roles impartially and effectively . Emphasizing the importance of community involvement in maintaining a sustainable and well-planned city, he urged Lagosians to promptly report any infractions they notice within the state.
The commissioner said that Ministry officials and agency personnel have been advised to act responsibly and not support any illegal activities.
Any officer found to be involved in such actions would face consequences according to the established rules and regulations.
Highlighting the various channels available for reporting infractions, Olumide pointed out that citizens can directly contact the Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, use the Lagos MPP&UD App on Google or iOS, or reach out through the Ministry’s hotlines at 07030653241 and 08034698264.
