Reps Set To Investigate Persistent Collapse Of National Grid

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the House of Representatives has resolved to investigate cases of recurring collapse of the national electricity grid.

The resolution to embark on the probe followed a motion of urgent public importance moved by Sani Bala, a lawmaker from Kano State.

Bala noted that it is “incomprehensible that all the key power plants in the country, including Egbin, Utorogu, Chevron Oredo, Oben gas-fired power plants, Ughelli, and Chevron Escravos power plants could all shut down at once.”
