Members of the Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) have commenced an indefinite strike action across the country.
The strike, slated to begin on Thursday (today), followed the expiration of an ultimatum issued to the Federal Government.
NARD President, Uyilawa Okhuaihesuyi, announced the commencement of the nationwide strike while featuring on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily.
“The strike commenced 8am this morning, and we enjoin all resident doctors to start the strike immediately,” he said.
