Epe: Residents Hail Wale Raji, Meet Contractor Over Construction Of Roads On Three Streets

The residents commended the lawmaker for remembering the streets.

Raji lives on one of the three streets but had prioritised other projects before now.

He explained that the decision to now start the construction was not politically motivated.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the contractor handling the upcoming construction of Babatunde Bakare, Edatomola Ogundipe, and Halima streets in Epe Local Government, Epe, Lagos State, on Saturday, met stakeholders to brief them about the project and seek their cooperation.
According to a statement from the Office of Hon. Wale Raji, the member of the House of Representatives for Epe Federal Constituency, on Sunday, the meeting was in preparation for the commencement of construction.
Speaking on behalf of the contractor, Mr Mohammed A. sought the cooperation of the Ajumoni Ojota Community Development Association (CDA) members and property owners in the areas during the duration of the project.
He expressed his company’s readiness to employ youths who are willing to work with them and local suppliers.
Senior Legislative Aide to Rep. Raji on Political matters, Mr Seriki Olabowale, who represented the legislator at the parley urged residents to cooperate with the contractor to ensure smooth delivery of the project.
The Secretary of Ajumoni Ojota CDA, Mr Bakare Lateef, who spoke on behalf of the CDA members and property owners in the areas, expressed delight at the eventual delivery of the project.

He thanked Raji for bringing succour to the area and pledged the cooperation of the CDA members and property owners in the area.
