Rivers ₦85000 Minimum Wage
The Rivers State Government has officially approved a new minimum wage of ₦85,000 for its civil servants.
This announcement was made by the state’s Head of Service, George Nwaeke, who revealed that Governor Siminalayi Fubara granted the approval during a private meeting with labor leaders and senior government officials.
Nwaeke confirmed that the implementation of the new wage would take immediate effect, providing much-needed financial relief to workers.
