The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, on Saturday declared that he’s bigger than governors of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Wike insisted that PDP governors put together can’t stand him because he’s bigger than them.
He spoke during a reception organized for him by the Rivers Ijaw Peoples Congress in Port Harcourt.
The Minister faulted PDP governors for supporting Governor Siminalayi Fubara amid the crisis in the state.
Wike and Fubara have been at loggerheads heads over the political control of the state.
Amid the rift, PDP governors forum had declared their stand for Fubara.
Hitting back at the governors, Wike said: “Don’t ever think they are fighting me; they are not fighting me. I’m too big. If you don’t recognize someone who is bigger than you, then you are sick. I’m far far, all of them put together can’t stand it.
“When people said they would put hand here, I told them that if you put hand here; hand too ‘go enter your own place’ now they are crying.
“You are the one that looked for trouble, we were on our own when somebody was boasting of getting involved, since you get hand to put, ‘alarm never begin blow?’
“Instead of them to concentrate on how to win election in their states, they are holding meeting to talk about Rivers State, who lose now,” he asked.
