Eko Hot Blog reports that youths in Rivers State have sent an urgent message to President Bola Tinubu.
Under the platform of Sim Media Volunteers (SMV), they implored the president to intervene and curb the alleged “reign of terror” unleashed by the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, in the state.

Furthermore, the youths appealed to the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, to maintain neutrality amid the political crisis.
“We call on the Inspector General of Police to rein in his men and exercise restraint by stopping the unnecessary attack or wanton arrest on any of the Governor’s supporters,” Convener Frank Kilsi stated.
Simultaneously, the group commended President Tinubu’s efforts to restore peace and his “renewed hope agenda.” “We further seize this opportunity to commend the President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his painstaking efforts at actualizing the renewed hope agenda for the nation,” Kilsi said.

Moreover, the SMV praised Governor Siminalayi Fubara’s governance, particularly his success in boosting the state’s Internally Generated Revenue from N12 billion to an unprecedented N27 billion within a year.
