Many Nigerians leave their homes with the expectation of eating when they arrive at work, regardless of how the roadside food sellers prepare the meal; they simply want to eat.
Contaminated food is one of the country’s major causes of health concerns, and some roadside food sellers prioritize profit over quality. This one-act jeopardizes our health because some roadside food vendors perform unimaginable things merely to increase their sales.
1. Some Cook In Dirty Environment
Some roadside food sellers occasionally cook in an unclean environment, which gives the food advantage of being contaminated, and when we buy and eat for a length of time, we get typhoid fever or bad stomach pain as a result.
2. Use Of Wrong Ingredients To Attract Customers
There have been several rumours that many roadside food sellers use paracetamol to cook their food, just to attract customers. Drugs are naturally addictive when taken too much, so you would naturally crave for more of their food, and it can also be very harmful to the health. Some of these vendors use this to attract their customers.

3. Cooking Unhealthy Meat
This is also a major worry; it has been stated that some roadside food sellers acquire cheap and unhealthy meat in order to earn large profits. It could be from a dead animal or old infected meat.
If you must eat from the roadside, clarify their suppliers and how na sure of how they prepare their food, if not it is better to eat at home, where you have zero percent risk.
