Rotary Club Of Gbagada Commissions Renovated Toilets, Water Supply Facility At Arch Deacon Adelaja Senior High School

The Rotary Club of Gbagada has commissioned new toilets and water supply facility at the Arch Deacon Adelaja Senior High School.

Eko Hot Blog reports that the Arch Deacon Adelaja Senior High School, Bariga, Lagos State, has been the beneficiary of 12 renovated toilets and a rehabilitated water supply facility.

The project was sponsored by the Rotary Club of Gbagada and Rotary Foundation in collaboration with the school’s Parents Teachers Association (PTA).

 

It aims to improve the learning environment and sanitation conditions for students and teachers.

The commissioning ceremony was attended by Olubunmi Oguntade, the President of the Rotary Club of Gbagada (2023-2024), Ifeyinwa Ejezie, the District Governor (2023-2024) and students.

The district governor, Mrs Ifeyinwa Ejezie praised the collaborative efforts of the district, the school, and the community, saying, “This project demonstrates what can be achieved when we work together towards a common goal”.

“We are committed to providing a conducive learning environment for our students, and this project is a significant step in that direction picking point to the school maintenance.”

The students of Arch Deacon Adelaja Senior High School expressed gratitude to the district and the project implementers.

“We are happy to have this new facility, which will greatly improve the health and well-being of our school and staff. We appreciate the support and commitment to our school’s development,” a student said.

The project is part of the Rotary Club of Gbagada’s efforts to improve education infrastructure and sanitation facilities in public schools.

Similar projects are planned for other schools in the district, with the goal of creating a better learning environment for all students.
