EKO HOT BLOG reports that Al Nassr Football Club has announced that Head Coach Rudi Garcia has parted ways with the club by “mutual agreement.” The announcement came on Tuesday, April 13, 2023, after months of speculation surrounding the Frenchman’s future at the club.
In a statement released by Al Nassr, the club expressed its gratitude towards Garcia and his staff for their dedicated work over the past eight months. The statement also wished the former coach all the best in his future endeavors.
Garcia joined Al Nassr in August 2022, replacing former coach Mano Menezes. Under his leadership, the club achieved mixed results, with their performances in the domestic league and AFC Champions League falling short of expectations.
Prior to departing the club by mutual consent, there stood rumors of a misunderstanding with new star player, Cristiano Ronaldo, but it is however unclear if such differences prompting Rudi Garcia’s exit.

Al Nassr is one of the most successful football clubs in Saudi Arabia, having won eight league titles, six King’s Cups, and two Crown Prince Cups. The club has also enjoyed success on the continental stage, winning the AFC Champions League in 2019.
The departure of Rudi Garcia marks the end of a brief but eventful era for Al Nassr. The club will now be looking to rebuild and move forward under a new coach as they aim to reclaim their status as one of the top teams in the country and on the continent.
