However, the comedian firmly rejected such offers, opting instead to assign roles that align with his vision of creating content suitable for all members of the family.

Recalling a specific incident, Sabinus recounted a scenario where he was preparing to shoot a skit, and a female participant raised concerns about being expected to showcase nudity.

In response, Sabinus clarified his artistic preferences, emphasizing that while he appreciates the presence of attractive individuals in his skits, it is not necessary for them to reveal explicit body parts.

“I have been in situations where some people will be like, ‘Sabinus, I want to join your comedy [group], I can do anything.’ I will say no, please let me give you a role to do. I have also had a situation where I was about to shoot and a girl was like, ‘You expect me to tie wrapper?’ I said, “My sister, that is what I love. That is what suits the story.’

“Sometimes, you need a fine girl, but she mustn’t be showing bumbum and bobbies.”

Sabinus expressed his belief that storytelling and humor can be effectively conveyed without resorting to nudity or explicit content. By adhering to this approach, he aims to cater to a broader audience base, ensuring that his comedic creations can be enjoyed by viewers of all ages.

The decision to abstain from incorporating nudity in his skits demonstrates Sabinus’ commitment to maintaining a family-friendly brand. By setting such boundaries, he strives to foster an environment where individuals, irrespective of their age or background, can engage with his content comfortably.

As an influential figure within the Nigerian comedy scene, Sabinus’ dedication to creating comedy that aligns with his values contributes to a wider conversation regarding the portrayal of explicit content in entertainment media.
