Fella Adebiyi, 59 popularly called ‘Big Daddy’ who died on May 12, 2020 was earlier diagnosed with high blood pressure making him susceptible to coronavirus.
According to his family, Fella Adebiyi was a kind and caring father and grandfather with total dedication to his career.
Sherif Adebiyi, a sister to the deceased stated that Fella was too dedicated to his work, no matter the hour he is called upon to work, despite our plea for him to stay home a while due to his health condition as stated above, he’d say “They need me”.
Fella Adebiyi was on Thursday night honored by the staff of Lansing Correctional Facility with candlelight vigil as a symbol of respect.
