EKO HOT BLOG reports that Arsenal’s winger, Bukayo Saka, has apologised to fans following his missed penalty against West Ham United in their 2-2 draw on Sunday.
The 21-year-old had the chance to make it 3-1 in the second half but failed to convert the spot-kick.
Shortly after, West Ham equalized through Jarrod Bowen less than two minutes after Saka’s miss. In a message posted on his Instagram page after the game,
Saka accepted responsibility for the missed penalty and apologized to the fans. He wrote, “Regardless of the outcome, I’ll always accept my responsibility. Apologies Gunners, I’ll do everything I can to make it right.” The draw left Arsenal four points ahead of Manchester City, who have a game in hand.
