Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah has set a new Premier League record for the most combined goals and assists in a 38-game season, achieving an impressive 45 goal contributions.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that Salah reached the milestone during Liverpool’s clash with West Ham United, providing an assist that brought his tally to 18 assists alongside 27 goals for the season. This feat surpasses the previous record of 44 contributions, jointly held by Arsenal legend Thierry Henry (2002/2003) and Manchester City striker Erling Haaland (2022/2023).
Salah’s consistency and attacking brilliance have been instrumental in Liverpool’s title charge this season under new manager Arne Slot. With the campaign entering its final stages, Liverpool remains firmly in the race for their 20th league crown.
The 32-year-old recently signed a two-year contract extension that will keep him at Anfield until 2027, much to the delight of the club and its supporters. His performances this season have further cemented his status as one of the Premier League’s all-time greats.
Salah is now just two contributions away from tying the overall Premier League record of 47 combined goals and assists, a benchmark set during the 42-game era by Andy Cole and Alan Shearer in the mid-1990s.
