Sanwo-Olu acknowledged that the Onigbongbo community had been through a difficult period due to the loss of two council leaders in succession.

“The passing of two successive chairmen was distressing, yet our commitment to the council remains unwavering. We will continue to move forward together and build on the legacies of those who served before.”

Sanwo-Olu encouraged residents and council officials to support Hassan, noting her vision, experience, and readiness to lead the LCDA into the future.
