Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has approved the appointment of new members of the Lagos State Judicial Service Commission.
The Head of Service, Hakeem Muri-Okunola, in a statement issued on Wednesday, explained that the Governor’s approval of the new appointments, which is in accordance with the provisions of the 1999 Constitution, was consequent upon the expiration of the tenure of the former members.

The new members are: Honourable Justice Kazeem O. Alogba, Moyosore Jubril Onigbanjo (SAN), Supo Àti-John, Bamidele Akinyemi, Seinde Kareem
The HoS quoted the Governor as thanking the outgoing members for their selfless service to Lagos State.
The statement noted that the new Commission members were appointed based on their qualification and level of experience, adding that constitutionally, the Chief Judge of the state serves as Chairman of the Judicial Service Commission.
