Sanwo-Olu Approves Olusanya As Agric Commissioner

The Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has confirmed the appointment of Ms. Abisola Olusanya as the substantive Commissioner for Agriculture.

The governor’s confirmation was contained in a circular issued on Wednesday by the state Head of Service, Mr Hakeem Muri-Okunola.

Olusanya was first appointed as Special Adviser to the Governor on Agriculture on August 20, 2019.

After the resignation of the former Commissioner for Agriculture, Gbolahan Lawal, who became the Oniru of Iruland, Olusanya was appointed the acting agric commissioner on June 8, 2020.

A statement on Wednesday by the Head of the Public Affairs Unit of the Ministry of Agriculture, Jide Lawal, however revealed Sanwo-Olu had confirmed her appointment as the substantive head of the ministry.
