Sanwo-Olu Canvasses Easier And Accessible Housing

• Gov Sanwo-Olu has stressed the need for easier and accessible housing.

• The Governor made this known during a Policy Roundtable Dialogue on Real Estate Regulations.

The Governor of Lagos State has stressed the need for real estate developers to make housing easier and more accessible by building the kind of houses that targets the different socio-economic classes.

The governor disclosed this today at a Policy Roundtable Dialogue on Real Estate Regulations where he addressed the industry practitioners on the significance of the sector to economic and social development.

Governor Sanwo-Olu noted that shelter was one of the most essential needs of humans.

He similarly acknowledged the critical role of financial institutions to the development of the Sector and increasing the stock of houses.

The governor therefore advised financial institutions to create new financing models and a longer tenure mortgage system that gives headroom to subscribers to be able to meet other needs.
