Sanwo-Olu Celebrates Ayinde’s Diamond Jubilee
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has poured encomiums on his Chief of Staff, Tayo Ayinde, as he marks his 60th birthday.
Describing Ayinde as a dependable, worthy, and trusted partner in the Greater Lagos agenda, Sanwo-Olu praised his high-level capacity, performance, and competence in discharging his duties.
Ayinde, who clocks 60 on August 24, has been a beacon of grassroots mobilization and support, hard work, loyalty, and sincerity.
Sanwo-Olu commended his Chief of Staff’s integrity, diligence, and excellence, stating that he is an asset to his administration due to his loyalty, selflessness, and hard work.
The Governor further described Ayinde as a God-fearing and quintessential gentleman who has contributed immensely to Lagos State’s growth and development.

He highlighted Ayinde’s remarkable impact on the state and Nigeria, particularly his instrumental role in the 2019 governorship election and his passionate work in the 2023 polls.
Sanwo-Olu’s congratulatory message, issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Gboyega Akosile, expressed his pleasure in calling Ayinde his Chief of Staff.
He praised Ayinde’s strength and survival instincts, likening him to a buffalo.
The Governor extended warm wishes to Ayinde on behalf of his family, the government, and the people of Lagos State, as well as the State Executive Council and staff in his office.
He prayed for God’s blessings and favor upon Ayinde, seeking continued strength and service to humanity, Lagos State, and Nigeria.
