Sanwo-Olu Extends Civil Servants’ Work-From-Home Order By Two Weeks

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has ordered all civil servants in the state on Grade Levels 14 and below to continue working remotely for another two weeks.

According to a statement issued by Chief Press Secretary to Sanwo-Olu, Gboyega Akosile, the affected workers would now resume on January 18, 2021.

The statement explained that the extension became necessary following the continued increase in cases of COVID-19 recorded in the state.

The directive was contained in a circular titled, “Re: Stemming the Tide of the Second Wave Of COVID-19 Pandemic”, issued by the Head of Service, Hakeem Muri-Okunola, to members of the State Executive Council and all heads of Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) on Sunday.
