Eko Hot Blog reports that the Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu received a delegation from the Corporate Council on Africa (CCA) led by its President, Ms. Florie Liser, at the Lagos House Marina on Saturday, February 24, 2024, according to a Facebook post by the state government.
The post included photos of Governor Sanwo-Olu exchanging greetings with Ms. Liser during the courtesy visit. Another photo showed Ms. Liser receiving a plaque from the governor.
Additional photos featured Governor Sanwo-Olu and Ms. Liser in discussions, joined by Deputy Governor Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, Secretary to the State Government Barr. Abimbola Salu-Hundeyin and others.
The Corporate Council on Africa is a leading U.S. business association focused on connecting American and African businesses. The organization works to strengthen commercial ties between the U.S. and Africa.
The courtesy visit afforded opportunities for the governor and Ms. Liser to explore partnerships between Lagos State and the CCA in driving trade, investment and development.
Governor Sanwo-Olu stated Lagos remains committed to fostering an enabling environment for businesses to thrive and enhance Nigeria-U.S. economic relations.
