Sanwo-Olu Hosts National Assembly’s Works Committee In Lagos

Eko Hot Blog reports that in an important visit, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State played host to the National Assembly’s Joint Committee on Works at the Lagos House, Marina.
The committee, led by Senator Mpigi Barinada and Hon. Oloye Akin Alabi, is conducting an oversight function to inspect the progress on several key federal projects in the state.

Among the projects under review are the Lagos Calabar Coastal Road and the ongoing repairs of the Third Mainland Bridge, both crucial infrastructure initiatives undertaken by the Federal Government in Lagos.
During the courtesy visit, the National Assembly’s Works Committee commended Governor Sanwo-Olu for the significant strides made in Lagos State’s development. Particular praise was given to the Red and Blue Line Rail Projects, extensive road developments, and various other notable projects currently underway in the state.
The visit allowed the committee to assess the status of federal projects in Lagos and provided an opportunity for Governor Sanwo-Olu to highlight the state’s commitment to infrastructure development and collaboration with the federal authorities.
