Ekohotblog reports that Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has applauded Hon. Abiodun Tobun, lawmaker representing Epe Constituency I, for delivering democracy dividends to his constituents, even as he revealed his administration readiness to commission educational facilities in Epe.
This was disclosed by the Lagos State Honourable Commissioner for Education, Dr Mrs Folashade Olufisayo at Odo-Obara High School Epe, during the commissioning of an ICT Center built by Hon Abiodun Tobun, on Wednesday 29th September 2021.
The commissioner applauded Alhaja Tobun, an Alumni of Odo-Obara High School, Epe for the painstaking roles she played in facilitating the project said to be an offshoot of the demands for a computer centre.

“I’m glad that you exerted your woman power. That is what we should do as women. Do more, continue to do more,” she said.
Olufisayo also praised Hon. Abiodun Tobun, who she described as dedicated to the Lawmaking business for the overall benefit of his constituents.
“He doesn’t know that I watch him from afar but I know he is a serious man with a serious purpose. He did not go to the House of Assembly for frivolous business, he went to the House for the greatness of this constituency,” she stated.
Speaking about the immense impacts of the ICT centre on the students and the community, the Commissioner said that there is hardly any human adventure embarked upon without the use of the computer compared to what was obtainable in past centuries.
She recalled the effects of the COVID-19 lockdown on students and the state government’s swift switch to virtual learning whilst using radio and television mediums to educate them.
The commissioning was part of events lined up for the Hon Abiodun Tobun Education Support Programme and Community Welfare Development 2021.
Others include the commissioning of a water supply facility with a Generator at the famous Oluwo market donated by his supporters.
The distribution of writing materials, school bags and school uniforms to Primary school pupils also took place at Epe local government secretariat, Ita-Marun.
Meanwhile, candidates with the highest scores in the recently concluded Free JAMB (Joint Admission and Matriculation Board) facilitated by the Tobun for Real Team were rewarded with amazing gifts.
Schools mapped for revitalisation and upgrading by the state government include Lagos State Model College Agbowa Ikosi, Adeshowon Junior High School, Agbowa Community High School, Ajebo High School, Alaro Community High School, Army Children Junior High School, Epe Girls High School, Epe Grammar School and Government Technical College.
