EKO HOT BLOG reports that during a valedictory cabinet meeting to end his first tenure as governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu promised to work harder for the people during his second term, stating that his administration would ensure good governance and not disappoint the citizens who supported him during the election.
He urged the people to take possession of government assets and put them to good use.
Speaking at the commissioning of a road in Adeniji Adele, Sanwo-Olu expressed his conviction that the projects completed during his first term will positively impact the lives of residents, enhance safety and security, create new jobs and livelihood opportunities, improve connectivity, reduce travel time, mitigate flooding, enhance property values, and stimulate businesses and economic development on the Island.
At the commissioning of a new block of classrooms in Oke-Odo Junior High School, Sanwo-Olu stated that his administration has been commissioning many projects in all sectors in commemoration of their second term inauguration.
The school is among several schools commissioned in the last three days consistent with their THEMES agenda, supervised by the Lagos State government’s Special Committee on Rehabilitation of Public Schools (SCRIPS).
