Eko Hot Blog reports that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has assured the management team of the Lekki Deep Sea Port of more developments planned to transform the area into a key economic center for Lagos State and Nigeria.
The governor made this assurance when he welcomed the port’s management team, led by Board Director Alhaji Bode Oyedele, to the Lagos House in Marina.
In a post on his official Facebook page, Sanwo-Olu stated, “Today, I welcomed the Management Team of Lekki Deep Sea Port led by the Board Director, Alhaji Bode Oyedele to the Lagos House, Marina.”
The governor expressed his appreciation for the team’s dedication and hard work, saying, “I praised their dedication and hard work, assuring them that there are more developments planned to transform that area into a key economic center for the State and the country.”
The Lekki Deep Sea Port, a major maritime project located in the Lagos Free Trade Zone, is expected to significantly boost Nigeria’s maritime operations and serve as a vital economic hub for the region.
Governor Sanwo-Olu’s assurance of further developments in the area highlights his administration’s commitment to leveraging strategic infrastructure projects to drive economic growth and position Lagos as a leading commercial and industrial center in Africa.
