The Executive Chairman, Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (LASUBEB), Mr. Wahab Alawiye-King has reiterated the determination of the Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu led administration to improve public schools in Lagos.
The Chairman stated this on Tuesday while receiving a delegation from the Nigerian Army 81 Division who paid him a courtesy visit at his Office in Maryland to thank the State Government, through LASUBEB, for the continuous efforts toward uplifting the education sector in the state.
He thanked the team led by the Director of Education Services, 81 Division Nigerian Army, Brigadier-General M.O. Ajala for the visit and assured that the Board would not relent in its efforts to take basic education in the state to enviable heights.
Alawiye-King expressed the readiness of the Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board to support and render necessary assistance to Military Schools in Lagos.
The leader of the delegation and Director of Education Services, 81 Division Nigerian Army, Brigadier-General M.O. Ajala stated that the purpose of the visit was to commend LASUBEB for the recent transformation of the education sector in Lagos State under the present administration.
He also solicited for the collaboration and continued support of the Lagos State Government, through the Board, on the implementation of education reforms in Military Schools in the State.
