The governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Monday spoke on the second recorded case of Coronavirus in the country.
The Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire, on Monday, confirmed the second case of coronavirus.
Speaking via his Twitter handle, @jidesanwoolu, Sanwo-Olu said that the second case is someone who had direct contact with the Italian patient.

Sanwo-Olu said, “Dear Lagosians, in line with our promise to update you regularly on issues around #COVID19, a second case has been confirmed. This case is someone who had direct contact with the Italian patient. The good news is that the patient was in isolation & under constant monitoring.
“Again, I want to urge us all to continue to be at alert and observe good personal hygiene as admonished. We have the capacity to contain the virus. With everyone’s cooperation, we will do exactly that.”
