Mr Babajide Sanwo-olu, Lagos State Governor has sworn in Hon. Oladotun Olakanle as the new Executive Chairman of Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) imploying him to ensure walfarism in the community and always be resonated by the principles of transparency and accountability in the management of public resources entrusted in his care.
The Governor avvered that there’s always a need for change and change can only happen by the call to duty of a good accountant.
Hon. Olakanle meanwhile, was the Former Vice Chairman of Onigbongbo LCDA, he became the new Council boss following the demise of the immediate past Chairman, Hon. Babatunde Oke, who died on Wednesday, August 12.

Sanwoolu said that the late former Chairman will always be remembered following his good deeds in the community and his memories would be rendered with the vision of development that he had for the local council development area.
The new Chairman, however, promised to carry out all assignments and do justice. “I will continue to remember the lasting legacies the late chairman left behind and I assure you that I will try as much as possible to discharge my duties as entrusted in the administrative guidelines of the Local Government “, he said.
