In furtherance of his THEMES Agenda geared towards hoisting Lagos to greater heights, the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu is expected unveil a 110-bed maternal and child centre, located within the premises of the Epe General Hospital.
The Commissioning of the facility is scheduled to hold on Monday 14th June, 2021 at 12:00 Noon.
In consolidation of his tremendous strides in healthcare delivery, the Babajide Sanwo-Olu administration completed the construction and equipping of yet another 110-Bed Maternal and Child Centre (MCC) located in Epe with a view to reversing the surging rate of maternal mortality rate indices in the state.
As gathered by Eko Hot Blog, the MCC design is mooted as a Four (4) Storey edifice with 110 bed complement.
This MCC like others is uniquely designed to suit the pre-conceptual integrated health services including, Emergency Services, Obstretrics, Gynaecology, Laboratory, Services/Blood bank, Radiology/Sonography, Paediatrics, Family Planning, Immunization.
The facility has a reception, patient waiting section, the medical records section, the outpatient consulting rooms, the resuscitation room, the family planning clinic section, the call room, the laboratory, pharmacy, Ultrasound scan room, labor rooms, delivery rooms, theatre, recovery room, Intensive care baby unit, treatment room, pre-natal ward, the post-natal ward and nursery.
