Eko Hot Blog reports that in the midst of the ongoing economic challenges facing the nation, the Epe Local Government Area (LGA) leadership has expressed unwavering gratitude and commendation for the efforts of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, in spearheading a comprehensive food palliative distribution program to provide much-needed relief to the residents.

Toyin Gbadamosi, the APC Chairman of Epe LGA, eloquently underscored the significance and impact of the initiative, stating, “The significance is to relieve people from the hardship, and what is being done today is not the first time the Local Government Chairman in partnership with the Governor of Lagos state have been supporting the people, giving palliative to reduce the hardship so that people in Epe local Government can continue to smile.”
Gbadamosi went on to highlight the consistent and impactful work of the Epe LG Chairperson, Princess Surah Olayemi Animashaun, stating, “What you are seeing today Princess Surah Animashaun has been doing it almost every week. She is doing it for the Party and everybody in the community.”
Echoing the sentiment of immense gratitude, Mrs. Giwa Monsurat Modupeola, the Council Manager of Epe LG, conveyed her heartfelt appreciation on behalf of the LG Chairperson, saying, “I will like to say a very big thank you to the governor for this opportunity. This opportunity is a welcome idea, and on behalf of my chairman, we are saying thank you to the governor.”
The community has also expressed its deep appreciation for the efforts of the local government leadership and the state government.
Toyin Gbadamosi remarked, “This is why you see people in the community smiling despite the hardship because they are being relieved with the little packages given to them.”
