EKO HOT BLOG reports that Dr Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu,the wife of the Lagos State Governor has called on citizens of the state to see security as a collective responsibility.
Sanwo-Olu made this call, according to a statement on Monday, during the graduation and passing out parade of Spy Police officers in Ikeja.
She said, “At the graduation and passing out parade of Course 3, Spy Police officers held at the Police Training School, Ikeja, the need for everybody to see security as a collective responsibility came to the fore.
As a way out of the woods from the security challenges confronting our nation, we are all admonished to be involved and work to enhance security in our neighbourhood, our state, and our country.
“My hearty congratulations go to the new officers even as it is expected that they will immediately deploy their professional training to support the existing security architecture to reduce crime and criminality to the barest, thereby making Nigeria safer and secure for economic growth and development.”
