Sasha P Unveils Academy For Development Of Aspiring Musicians

Years after being inactive on the Nigerian music scene, female rapper and fashion entrepreneur, Sasha P, is back. In storming back to the stage where she acquired fame and fortune.is

 

she has launched a new music academy to assist aspiring musicians develop their skills so as to be better empowered to navigate the path to the top.

 

The 35-year-old rapper, whose real name is Yetunde Alabi, disclosed this through her Instagram account @sashapofficial, saying the music academy will be known as “The Hard Knock Series”

 

According to her, the academy will consist of curated courses and workshops that focus on equipping artistes for the music business.

 

“It is finally here!! I am super excited to announce that the first installment of my new passion project the HardKnockSeries is now LIVE.

 

“The HardKnockSeries”is a music academy with a variety of courses and resources to enable musicians and entertainment enthusiasts acquire the knowledge required to reach their full potential,” she wrote.

 

With artist development set to be one of the many services to be offered both record labels and independent artists, the former Trybes Records First Lady seems ready for what is to come.

Sasha P, who is a lawyer by profession before choosing to go the way of music, became a household name after she joined eLDee’s Trybe Records. She soon walked away from it all to embrace fashion, going on to create the Nigerian high street fashion in December 2011 at L’Espace where she launched her own clothing label, Eclectic by Sasha, designed by herself in 2012.

 

A recipient of many awards, Sasha P is best known for the single, “Adara”.
