Say Something About The Rape Case In Your School, Nigerians Charge Pst Kumuyi

Thousands of Nigerians have taken to social media to charge the Senior Pastor, Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi to issue a public statement concerning an ongoing rape case besmirching a Deeper Life High School campus in Akwa Ibom State.

The renowned clergy, and indeed his entire ministry has come into fierce criticism after a viral video made by the mother of a rape victim in a Deeper Life campus circulated via social media.

The student, a 12-year old JSS1 student who is identified as Don Davis, allegedly suffered repeated sexual harassments in the school’s boarding facility before his plight became public knowledge.

As gathered by Eko Hot Blog, Don’s mother, in the wake of the incident had been summoned by the General Overseer for the purpose of questioning her son and pressing to the discovery of the culprits behind his ordeal.

But in a new video which is currently making the rounds on social media, Don’s mother alleged that she had been summoned as a ploy to convince her to take down her disparaging posts on social media and that her life is indeed in danger.

“You tricked me to your office to remove the video, and I’m doing another one to tell Nigerians what is happening. Nigerians I’m not safe o! If after this video, I die, let history have what killed me” she said in the new video which has since gone viral on Twitter.

The woman, who broke down in tears as she stated the facts of her son’s ordeal also alleged that her phone was taken from her in an effort to prevent her from telling her story.

Reacting to the incident, the Deeper Life High School has issued a memo informing the public that the Principal of the school has been placed on indefinite suspension and that investigation is ongoing to come to grips with the culprits behind Don’s ordeal.

But Nigerians have been far from satisfied with this reaction, and have taken to social media to share photos of Don before and after his molestation. Whereas the 12-year old looks healthy and in fine spirits in the first photo (before molestation), the second photo depicts him as a pale shadow of himself, shrivelled and frail as a result of the unspeakable brutality of sexual molestation.

They recalled that the General Overseer (Kumuyi), in the philosophy of his ministry, has always taken a hard line against all forms of immorality in the past.
