Many Students Trapped As School Collapses In Jos
A school building collapse in Busa Buji, Jos North, Plateau State, has trapped many students, prompting ongoing rescue efforts and causing distress among parents.
Eko Hot Blog reports that many students are currently trapped in a collapsed school building in the Busa Buji community of Jos North Local Government Area, Plateau State.
The incident occurred at around 11 am on Friday, affecting Saint Academy where students were in the midst of writing exams.

Eyewitnesses reported that the building suddenly caved in, causing panic and chaos as students found themselves trapped under the rubble. News of the collapse quickly spread, prompting many distressed parents to rush to the school, wailing uncontrollably as they awaited news of their children’s safety.
Rescue operations are ongoing, with security personnel, including soldiers and police, actively involved in the efforts. Emergency responders and local volunteers are working tirelessly to locate and free the trapped students, using heavy machinery to clear the debris.
Initial reports suggest that there have been fatalities among the trapped victims, although Daily Trust cannot independently verify this at the time of reporting. The section of the school that collapsed is reported to be where the Senior Secondary 1 (SS1), Senior Secondary 2 (SS2), and Senior Secondary 3 (SS3) classes are located.
