Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (LASUBEB) Chairman, Mr. Wahab Alawiye-King has said the much-publicised home-grown school feeding programme will restore public confidence in governance.
He made this known while meeting stakeholders which includes Education Secretaries, School-based Management Committees and others who have specific roles to play in the implementation of the programme in Lagos on Sunday.
Alawiye-King, while lamenting the failure of such programme in the past assures that this programme would be implemented to have positive impact on the school pupils.

According to the Chairman, the success of the programme lies in the effort put in by all stakeholders.
The Senior Special Assistant to the President on the Project, Mrs. Titilola Adeyemi-Doro berated the media for aiding the spread of untrue and baseless fallacies about the homegrown school-feeding programme.
She urged all stakeholders to change the negative belief about the School Feeding Programme.
